Genealogical Word List
Swedish is a Germanic language, as are Icelandic, Danish and Norwegian. There are three letters (vowels) in written Swedish that is not included in English: Å (å), Ä (ä), and Ö (ö). Alphabetically, all three letters come after the letter Z.
